春分の日の後の満月後の最初の日曜日がイースター。ということで 今年は、今週の日曜日。
今週の私の少人数の中一英語クラスでは、Ｅａｓｔｅｒの絵本を読み聞かせたり、ゆで卵を隠してみつけるEaster egg huntsを楽しみながら、ゆで卵を使ってHow many...?と 前置詞 in front of , behind, on, underなどを学習しました。文化の紹介をすると とても興味深くきいてくれます。わが家でも Easter cornerを楽しんでいます。ゆりは、Easter liliesといって 新しい生命と希望のシンボルのお花とされています。

Today is a full moon day!!
This Sunday is Easter, so I read a picture book about Easter, boiled eggs and introduced different culture from Japan in my English class. My students showed interests and they enjoyed egg hunts even though they are 12-year-old boys. I taught how to use the preposition ( in front of , behind, on, under,and so on) using boiled eggs.
Easter lilies smell nice in my house. I hope the world will be filled with new lives and hopes.
