木蓮の花が満開？！

　香りも素敵な木蓮のお花がここ２，３日で一気にひらきだしたように思います。もちろん、まだまだ毛皮を被った蕾も場所によってはありますが。。お花が蓮に似ているから木蓮というそうです。確かに。。。欧米では、椿、ツツジ類とともに三大花木とされています。小さい頃、白い木蓮の木の下でいつもいい香りがするなぁと思っていたことを思い出します。

Lily magnolia

　I feel that in a couple of days ,lily magnolia started to bloom. Still some of the buds are covered with fur-like barks.When you walk under the lily magnolia in full bloom, you will be filled with nice smells. Lily magnolia is named after the French botanist in eiteenth century.This flower reminds me of my old house I lived in my childhood.
