造幣局の八重桜がみた～い。。

　ソメイヨシノが終わると八重桜。うちの近くでも　ところどころ豪華な八重桜が咲いています。今年も広島市佐伯区の造幣局広島支局で　22日（水）まで構内の桜が一般開放されています。先週の水曜日も仕事帰りに　コイン通りを車で走ると八重桜満開の様子が伺えました。　コイン通りには　　ハナミズキも。この週末は忙しくて　造幣局の「花のまわりみち」にはいけそうにありません。残念。。これは、うちの近くの八重桜です。桜の花は、はかないといいますが、桜前線を追って北上したり、桜の種類を知ると1ヶ月くらい桜も楽しめますね。

Double flowering cherry trees

　 After Someiyoshino(the one in Washington D.C.), yaezakura, double flowering cherry trees are in full bloom. Someiyoshino are usually in full bloom in early April in Hiroshima, and Yaezakura are in full bloom at this time of the year. At the Mint Bureau there is a double flower cherry trees' festival every year. I wish I could go, but it seems I can't make it this year. So I enjoyed taking a picture of yaezakura near my house. Cherry blossoms are short-lived flowers but if you follow the 'Cherry blossom front' or find different kinds, you can enjoy them for about a month.
